Day 14th

Kids slept in while I ran some erans :) Then we had a fun night at the Markwood's having BBQ and campfire. The kids went on the 4-wheeler and the trampoline...lots of fun!

Thursday, July 8 Today we went shopping, it reached almost 100 degrees and we wanted to stay cool. And we really wanted to get Maria a Build-a-Bear :)




The girls also sat in the air conditioning at the Mall and chatted while Maria had a chocolate frappuccino and Katelyn had a strawberry one :)

Tuesday.....beautiful day again, Katelyn & Maria are playing cards, we are relaxing a bit today because tonight is Maria & Bradley's big night at the Mariners game :)

Day 12 (Tuesday) 92 degrees!




Today I took the kids swimming at my nieces house, Maria got to meet my niece Erin and my great niece Abigail & great nephew Preston...aren't they adorable!

Day 10

Monday, July 5th.....one of my favorite days so far! Russ went fishing with his dad this morning while we all slept in, then he made us biscuits & gravy...yuuummm! Then we all got ready for a bike ride :)
























We went on a beautiful bike ride on the trails by the river, not easy to ride bike and take pictures...lol...then it was a beautiful night to have dinner on the patio before we go play some softball with friends :)

Day 9 with Maria Fourth of July!

Day 9 "Independence Day"
We started the fourth of July with our regular Sunday morning church service, then we had a fellowship bbq afterward....very fun!













We went to a block party for the fourth of July festivities and Fireworks...it was very Fun as well!

Day 6 & 7 & 8 with Maria

Day 6 we slept in!

We were up half the night seeing the Premier of Eclipse, such a good movie, so much fun!

Then after a restful day, the kids went to a marshmallow madness youth event, where they played games and roasted marshmallows with about 40 other teenagers

Day 7

Well, one of my daughters favorite things to do is go to the mall, so that is just what we did on this rainy day :)
It was fun to learn from Maria which stores they also have in Spain and which ones that they don't have. Then we came back home and watched a movie together.


Day 8

Today is Friday, grocery shopping day & run some erans, Then tonight we were invited to our good friends for a bbq.
Another great day!

Day 5 in Seattle!

Day 4 of Maria's visit :)

Of course Monday night we had a Twilight Party with the girls to watch Twilight & New Moon....we were very excited about seeing the premier of Eclipse Tuesday night!



They had a fun time swimming at Lake Tye & having french fries and milkshakes afterwards :)


Monday was a hang out and Rest day! The kids enjoyed sitting in the sun, riding bike, and watching movies together

Day 2 & 3 with or guest daughter from Spain :)

Day 2 (Saturday)

So much fun! We woke up Sat. and had breakfast together. Maria thought it was a little strange that Katelyn likes peanut butter on her pancakes...lol

Maria made cookies for the first time, chocolate chip & M&M monster, they were yummy!! They had fun :) They made them for the welcoming party, they went very quickly :)















I think Maria was amazed at the amount of rummage sales, I think she thought is was kinda funny, people selling their junk from their yard. We went to a rummage sale at church where she saw something else she thought was only in the movies...a dunk tank...lol...she didn't hit the bulls-eye, but she had a blast trying...lol...then to lunch at Taco Bell :)



Then for the welcome party, the girls looked so beautiful when they came down stairs :) We all had a great time hanging out with the other families & friends. And more dunk tank...lol...not only did Maria hit the bulls-eye, but she even volunteered with Katelyn to sit in the tank! Crazy girls! lol :)


























Back at our house with friend just hanging out, getting to know each other, great day!













Day 3 (Sunday)

Maria said she thought our church is "cool" & she liked our pastors hair...lol...she even got to see our friend Joe propose to his girlfriend Annette...very fun!











Off to a birthday party for the girls! Paloma's host family's daughter had a birthday, they rode the golf cart, a swung from the trees..lol..then
finished off the party with a BBQ :)











Back home for a movie (Cinderella Story) and Oreo cookies!
