Seattle Trip 2012

This is a photo from our trip th Seattle in November, it was rainy, but we had a great time!  This photo was taken at Snoqualmie Falls.  We definetly have some great memories from this trip. :) 

1 year in Minnesota :)

It has been a year since we moved to Minnesota and we are enjoying it very much.  Russ and I celebrated with family and friends our 40th birthdays in August, it was a blast!  Also a couple weeks ago Russ and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.  Katelyn has been very busy with her permit, trying to get hours behind the wheel.  Also Katelyn played volleyball and is now participating in cheer and she will run track in the Spring.  Bradley finished football not to long ago and is already under way playing baketball.  Our family visited Seattle over Thanksgiving and had so much fun!! 

New Chapters

It really feels like we have started a new Chapter in life, and were we ever needing to, sometimes to get out of our comfort zones is when we see the most growth. This year Russ and I both turn 40 and we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary...Katelyn will be starting to drive and Bradley will be a teenager!! Big year for us!! We are continueing to grow our Advocare business, we love it, we get to do it as a family and we love the products. I am also enjoying a part time job working at a Developmental Achievement Center. Lots of blessings to be thankful for :)

My cousins boyfriend Travis is a race car driver, www.21xracing.com we are very excited we will finally get to see him race this year...Yeah!!

This is a kinda fun picture of Katelyn! We live in a small town in Minnesota called Rothsay, we really like it, it is a really nice community. A couple trains come through on these track a day :)

Wow!! 1st Post in almost 2 years!!

It has been the longest 2 years of my life, some of the most wonderful times and some of the hardest. My last posts were of our time with our "like" daughter from Spain, Maria, she was with us most of the summer of 2010. It was one of the most amazing experiences, she will always be considered part of our family.

The winter of 2010 I was diagnosed with cancer, which with the support of my doctors, family and friends, a couple surgerys and a lot of prayer later....I am cancer free!! Thank you Lord!! Following my short and aggressive run in with Cancer, we had Maria for the second summer, I cannot thank her family enough for paying to send their daughter to us for a second time, it was the perfect healing theropy for me and the family. We had a great time!

In November of 2011 we took a vacation to Minnesota to visit my family, then the big SHOCK came, we decided to move there :) So here we are in 2012, in Minnesota, loving it so far. I have the most amazing family, Katelyn is getting ready to play Volleyball, Bradley is playing Basketball, Russ is still working for FedEx here in Fargo, ND. I am enjoying working part time and continuing to grow my Advocare business. My mom is with us and is always a blessing to have in our lives.

We hope to have many visits to the Northwest to see Mom & Dad Proudfoot and My Dad & Carol, and all of our brothers and sisters and families, we miss them all very much. we miss a lot of good friends too!! We are also very thankful for all of the hospitality we have recieved here in Minnesota, my family here ROCKS!! We have already to met lots of friends.
